WelCOME to the sir clan website!

In the early years of 2006 the Sir Clan was formed.  With a year of hard work and dedication, in 2007 we started competing in tournaments earning cash prizes and most of all reputation.
The Sir Clan is an organization of professional gaming athletes, which originates from the United States of America. Our goal is to nurture aspiring potential and grow the next generation of e-Sports athletes.
The Sir Clan gives both new and established talent the chance to compete at the highest level under the wings of a well structured organization. Based on a select number of criteria, the Sir Clan will continuously scout and recruit young potential, and is therefore a representation of the best the United States has to offer.

What seperates Sir from the competitors

Game Theory: a theory that deals with competitive situations where two or more participants pursue conflicting objectives. The theory attempts to offer a solution that resolves the conflict among participants. In games, the participants are competitors; the success of one is usually at the expense of the other. Each person selects and executes those strategies that he believes will result in "winning the game." Game theory attempts to provide a guideline for a variety of game situations.

The common use of Sir instead of the rank specific address for a senior officer in a military, police or other hierarchical organisation is rather specific to English. In most languages, no such general address is considered respectful, or the two are combined, as in German Herr followed by the rank. In French the possessive pronoun mon precedes the rank, not unlike My Lord or Mein Führer.
